* Digitech TSR-24S v2.30 firmware *

This is weird, according to the detailed information on a web site (Which I won't link here, because it sells EPROM upgrades and I don't want to "promote" it) claiming that the TSR-24(S) can be upgraded only up to version 2.00, using two EPROM chips. Well...

I dumped this one from a TSR-24S main board marked "05-6209 REV B", which uses the U30 chip only and don't even has a socket for the U33 chip. It's a unit produced in September 1996 with one "S-DISC II" DSP chip onboard. Could it be the latest revision of the device?

EPROM type: 27C4001 (27C040 is also OK)

EPROM label:	72-3142-03 V2.30
		CS: 1C1B
		1596

I checked
 the contents of the binary dump, and I saw that there is no code exactly near the end of the first half of the file, therefore it looks perfectly splittable for a double-chip installation on two 27C2001/27C020 EPROMs; however I cannot be sure that there is some kind of hardware modification needed, such as a jumper somewhere, for the double-chip set to work: if you have already a double-chip unit to upgrade, then you may try it.

I won't include the splitted files here, but I may suggest to use an utility like the excellent "HdX" (see www.mh-nexus.de).

PS: If somebody uses successfully my dump splitted on two 27C020/27C2001 EPROMs, please let me know!
